  AMOUNTS OVER THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS AND SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE CENTRAL
  MOUNTAINS AND ALLEGHENIES THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT. HOWEVER...THE
  SNOW SHOULD BE MORE INTERMITTENT IN THE LOWER SUSQUEHANNA
  VALLEY. THE SNOW SHOULD FINALLY TAPER OFF COMPLETELY EARLY TUESDAY
  MORNING.

.SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST ALONG THE WESTERN SLOPES OF
THE APPALACHIANS...THEN SPREAD EASTWARD UP TO THE BLUE RIDGE THIS
EVENING AS A SURGE OF COLD AIR MOVES IN BEHIND A COLD FRONT.
WHILE ONLY MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED...WET ROADS MAY
EXPERIENCE A FLASH FREEZE AS THE COLD AIR MOVES IN AND
TEMPERATURES DROP RAPIDLY...CREATING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS
FOR THE EVENING COMMUTE.

DURING THE OVERNIGHT...A SECOND SURGE OF MOISTURE WILL ARRIVE
