THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPOKANE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN FERRY COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON...
  EAST CENTRAL OKANOGAN COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON...

* UNTIL 315 PM PDT

* AT 118 PM PDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NEARLY STATIONARY
  THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF MODERATE RAINFALL.  THESE STORMS ARE
  RELATIVELY SHORT-LIVED BUT RADAR ESTIMATED THE POTENTIAL FOR
  UPWARDS OF 0.30" OVER SOUTHEASTERN FLANKS OF THE NORTHSTAR
  BURNSCAR.  THIS INCLUDES THE PORTION OF THE NORTHSTAR BURN SCAR
  THAT IS WEST OF HIGHWAY 21 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 126 AND 137.

* FLOODING WILL BE CONFINED TO SENSITIVE AREAS WITHIN THE BURNSCAR
  AND DOWNSTREAM MAINLY WITHIN RURAL AREAS OF SOUTHWESTERN FERRY AND
  EAST CENTRAL OKANOGAN COUNTIES.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOVE AWAY FROM RECENTLY BURNED AREAS. MINOR DEBRIS AND MUD FLOWS ARE
POSSIBLE. THE HEAVY RAINS MAY TRIGGER ROCKSLIDES...MUDSLIDES AND
DEBRIS FLOWS IN STEEP TERRAIN...ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND THESE AREAS.
