THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 3000 FEET...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM
LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

* HAZARD TYPE...SNOW.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 7 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IS LIKELY TODAY.
  ANOTHER STRONG...BUT FAST MOVING...STORM IS EXPECTED TO DUMP 12
  TO 18 INCHES OF SNOW ON THE AREA ABOVE THE 3000 FOOT LEVEL ON
  SUNDAY.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...STEVENS PASS...SNOQUALMIE PASS...AND
  PARADISE ON MOUNT RAINIER.

* TIMING...EXPECT PERIODS OF LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW TO DEVELOP EARLY
  SUNDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SHOWERS SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACT...EXPECT WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS IN THE PASSES TODAY.
