THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN BENTON COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI...
  HICKORY COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI...

* UNTIL 1115 PM CDT

* AT 1025 PM CDT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A
  TORNADO WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 21 MILES NORTHEAST
  OF HERMITAGE TO 16 MILES NORTHWEST OF WHEATLAND...AND MOVING
  SOUTH SOUTHEAS5 AT 20 MPH.

  HAZARD...TORNADO AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

  SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

  IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
           SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
           TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
           LIKELY.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  HERMITAGE AND WHEATLAND.

THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES POMME DE TERRE LAKE...POMME DE TERRE STATE
PARK AND TRUMAN LAKE.
