COUNTY ARIZONA. BEHIND THE COLD FRONT NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE
THIS EVENING ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA AND DOWN THE COLORADO RIVER
VALLEY SUNDAY.

  70 MPH THROUGH THE LATE EVENING BEFORE EASING.

* TIMING: WINDS WILL PEAK THIS AFTERNOON...AND DECREASE LATE
  THIS EVENING.

* LOCATIONS: BARSTOW...FORT IRWIN...BICYCLE LAKE...INTERSTATE 15
  AND INTERSTATE 40...HIGHWAYS 58 AND 395.

* IMPACTS: DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO BLOWING DUST AND
  STRONG CROSSWINDS...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH-PROFILE VEHICLES.
  STRONG WINDS MAY DISPLACE TREE DEBRIS...SMALL OBJECTS AND
  TEMPORARY STRUCTURES.

.A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL BRING
INCREASING SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS A LARGE
PORTION OF THE FORECAST AREA. THE STRONGEST WINDS THIS AFTERNOON
WILL BE FOCUSED ACROSS THE ANTELOPE VALLEY WHERE DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH WILL BE LIKELY...ALONG WITH REDUCED
VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING DUST AND SAND. BEHIND THE COLD
FRONT...WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH. THE FOCUS OF
STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE ACROSS THE INTERSTATE 5 CORRIDOR IN THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY MOUNTAINS...WHERE DAMAGING GUSTS BETWEEN 60 AND
70 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED. THE GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS WILL EXPAND
SOUTHWARD OVERNIGHT AND IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE SANTA CLARITA
