  Index bridge on U.S. highway 71.  The bridge is in danger of being
  overtopped.

  evacuate cattle and machinery to higher ground in the Little River
  valley below Millwood lake to the confluence of the Little and Red
  rivers.  Expect considerable flooding between and near levees.
  Expect backwater flooding up through the Little River to below
  Millwood Lake.

  acres will continue. Severe backwater flooding of Pecan and Nolan
  Bayous occurs. The U.S. highway 259 bridge approaches flood.  Texas
  highway bridges 8 and 37 are flooded and closed.  Move
  livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* Impacts at 45.0 feet...Levee patrolling begins in Pine Bluff area.
  Residences in Island Harbour inundated.
* This flood crest will be the highest crest since May of 1990, when

  The East Fork Trinity River Near Crandall.
* At 0900 PM Friday the stage was 12.91 feet.
* Flood stage is  18 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Saturday morning and crest near  21 feet by Sunday after midnight.
  The river should fall below flood stage by Monday morning.
* At 20 feet, Moderate out of banks flooding is expected. Caution
  should be exercised near the river. Several rural roads will be
  underwater. Farm and ranch land near the river will be flooded.

* Flood stage is  24 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to a crest near  28 feet
  by Sunday morning. The river should fall below flood stage late
  Monday morning.
* At 27 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding will occur along the
  creek. A few rural roads will be flooded. Minor lowland flooding is
  expected for farms and ranches downstream.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Arkansas River At Pendleton.
* until late Wednesday night...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:15 PM Friday the stage was 30.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by midnight tonight and continue
  to rise to near 32.0 feet by Sunday morning. With additional
  rainfall expected this weekend please monitor latest forecasts for
  any updates.
* Impacts at 31.0 feet...Residences inside the levee just upstream of
  the Pendleton Bridge are affected.
* Impacts at 32.0 feet...Area access roads on right descending bank
  upstream and downstream of the bridge are flooded. Property inside the
  levee in the Pendeleton area is threatened and should be removed.
* This flood crest is about a 1.5 feet higher than the flood crest of
  30.4 feet which occurred a few weeks ago.

NORTHWESTERN ORANGE...EAST CENTRAL HARDIN AND SOUTHERN JASPER
COUNTIES...

AT 833 PM CDT...REPORTING GAUGES INDICATED FLOODING ALONG THE
NECHES RIVER FROM NEAR WEISS BLUFF TO THE SALTWATER BARRIER. THE
WATER LEVELS ARE ESTIMATED TO BE NEAR 14.6 FEET AND THE LATEST
READING AT THE SALTWATER BARRIER IS 6.2 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST
TO RISE TO 16.8 FEET BY MONDAY...AND CONTINUE TO RESULT IN FLOODING
THROUGH FRIDAY...JUNE 5.

THESE WATER LEVELS WILL RESULT IN MODERATE FLOODING TO LOW LYING
COMMUNITIES ALONG THE RIVER IN NORTHWEST ORANGE COUNTY FROM AROUND
LAKE VIEW TO THE SALTWATER BARRIER.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
LAKEVIEW AND WEISS BLUFF.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
