AT 728 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS
HAS PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. BETWEEN 3 TO 5
INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN WITHIN THE LAST 2 TO 3 HOURS! FLASH
FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY...OR MAY ALREADY BE OCCURRING!

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
WALLAND...TOWNSEND...AND WEARS VALLEY.

  THE NORTHWESTERN CITY OF ROANOKE IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA...

* AT 719 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NEARLY STATIONARY
  THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA.
  RAINFALL TOTALS UP TO TWO INCHES HAVE ALREADY FALLEN...AND THIS
  AREA RECEIVED HEAVY RAIN YESTERDAY AS WELL. FLASH FLOODING IS

CENTRAL MURRAY COUNTY...

AT 647 PM EDT...HEAVY RAIN HAS DIMINISHED ACROSS CENTRAL MURRAY
COUNTY. HOWEVER...HIGH WATER AND RUNOFF FROM NEARLY 4 INCHES OF RAIN
WILL CONTINUE TO CREATE LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.

JUST AFTER 6 PM...MURRAY COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED HIGH
WATER AROUND THE CHATSWORTH COMMUNITY...NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF
HIGHWAY 76 AND COCHRAN ROAD. ADDITIONAL ROADS THAT WERE FLOODED
INCLUDED TREADWELL ROAD AND LEONARD BRIDGE ROAD. DEPTH OF WATER WAS
UNKNOWN...AND FLOODING IS LIKELY STILL OCCURRING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
DALTON...CHATSWORTH...ETON...CRANDALL...RAMHURST...FORT MOUNTAIN

AT 645 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED AWAY
FROM ALEXANDER COUNTY. LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO FALL ACROSS THE
REGION THROUGH 730 PM. AS MUCH AS THREE TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN WERE
ESTIMATED ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN CORNER OF THE COUNTY NEAR
BETHLEHEM. HIGH WATER SHOULD BE EXPECTED ALONG ROCK CREEK AND ITS
TRIBUTARIES.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
BETHLEHEM...LITTLE RIVER IN ALEXANDER COUNTY...AND MILLERSVILLE.
