.NOW...
Through 300 pm, isolated showers and potential embedded
thunderstorms will slowly meander southwest at near 5 knots across
the waters surrounding the Florida Keys and the island chain. The
strongest activity, over Cudjoe Key in addition to Florida Bay, will
be capable of heavy downpours limiting visibility, wind gusts up to
25 to 30 knots, and a occasional lightning strikes. Island
communities may observe up to a quarter of an inch of additional
rainfall from nearby showers.
