PLAINS...UPPER TRANS PECOS...MARFA PLATEAU AND VAN HORN/HIGHWAY
54 CORRIDOR THIS AFTERNOON...

.A STRONG UPPER LEVEL LOW APPROACHING THE AREA ALONG WITH A TIGHT
PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL BRING WINDY CONDITIONS TO PARTS OF THE
AREA TODAY. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE GUADALUPE
AND DAVIS MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT PLAINS. WINDS WILL QUICKLY DIMINISH
AFTER SUNSET THIS EVENING.

INTENSIFIES...A STRONG SURFACE LOW WILL DEVELOP OVER FAR EASTERN
NEW MEXICO AND ALLOW FOR STRONG WEST WINDS TO OCCUR ACROSS
