THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
NEVADA...NORTHEAST NEVADA AND NORTHWEST NEVADA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A WINTER DISTURBANCE TODAY WILL BRING MORE SNOW SHOWERS TO
NORTHWESTERN NEVADA. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE GENERALLY LESS
THAN ONE INCH. THE SNOW MAY IMPACT TRAVEL ALONG I-80 EMIGRANT
PASS. USE CAUTION AS SNOW MAY CREATE SLICK SPOTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

A MORE ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN WILL SET UP ACROSS NORTHERN NEVADA
BEGINNING ON THURSDAY. A MIXTURE OF LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN
EVENT COULD OCCUR THURSDAY ACROSS HUMBOLDT COUNTY, INCLUDING
WINNEMUCCA, AS WELL AS NORTHERN LANDER, NORTHERN EUREKA AND
SOUTHWESTERN ELKO COUNTIES. BUT FREEZING RAIN SHOULD END LATER
THURSDAY AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING IN VALLEY LOCATIONS.
LITTLE ICE ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED BUT POTENTIAL STILL EXISTS
FOR IMPACTS ON TRAVEL.

VALLEY RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW WILL EXIST FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY BEFORE CHANGING TO MOSTLY SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT. ANOTHER
WEATHER SYSTEM COULD BRING MORE RAIN OR SNOW ON MONDAY.
