HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING OUT OF CALIFORNIA INTO NEVADA WILL
BRING WIDESPREAD STRONG WINDS TO THE AREA TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY
NIGHT. A HIGH WIND WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE EASTERN SIERRA
SLOPES AND OWENS VALLEY WHERE GUSTS TO 70 MPH ARE POSSIBLE DUE TO
STRONG DOWNSLOPE WINDS. A WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE REST
OF SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA...SOUTHERN NEVADA AND NORTHWEST ARIZONA
WHERE GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WILL BE COMMON.

LIGHTER WINDS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. IT LOOKS LIKE
ANOTHER VIGOROUS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE AREA FRIDAY
THROUGH SATURDAY. STRONG WINDS ARE THE MAIN CONCERN FRIDAY WITH COOL
AND POSSIBLE WET CONDITIONS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. THERE IS
STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY REGARDING TIMING...TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THIS
SYSTEM HOWEVER.

NO SIGNIFICANT WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BE PUSHING ACROSS NORTHERN NEVADA ON
TUESDAY. STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50
MPH WILL BE LIKELY ACROSS MUCH OF THE FORECAST AREA AND A WIND
ADVISORY MAY BE REQUIRED. IN ADDITION TO THE STRONG
WINDS...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE IN THE MORNING
AND AFTERNOON HOURS AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS THE AREA.
TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE FRONT WILL CRASH...AS WILL THE SNOW
LEVELS. SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP TO THE VALLEY FLOORS DURING THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS...WITH SOME MINOR ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ACROSS
THE AREA...ESPECIALLY IN NORTHERN ELKO COUNTY.
