.SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS
OF SOUTHERN OREGON AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA FROM LATE THIS MORNING
THROUGH THIS EVENING. A SHORTWAVE TROUGH IS OFFSHORE FROM SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EARLY THIS MORNING BUT IT WILL BRING INCREASING AMOUNTS
OF MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY AS IT MOVES NORTH TO NORTHEAST. THE
TIMING AND TRACK OF THIS DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN THE
MOST EXTENSIVE COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SOUTHERN OREGON
CASCADES AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON DURING THIS
EVENING. STORM MOVEMENT WILL BE FASTER THAN NORMAL AT AROUND 35
MPH AND RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE MODERATE. THUS, THERE MAY BE MANY NEW
FIRE STARTS.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...30 TO 50 MPH GUSTS ARE POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS COMBINED WITH
  EXISTING DRY FUELS WILL RESULT IN MANY FIRE STARTS IN A SHORT
  PERIOD OF TIME. SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS EXPECTED WITH SOME OF
