SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
MUCH OF CATRON COUNTY WITH MORE SPOTTY ACTIVITY INTO WEST AND
CENTRAL SOCORRO COUNTY. THESE WILL BE MOVING GENERALLY TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST AROUND 15 MPH. A FEW OTHER SHOWERS AND ISOLATED STORMS
WILL HEAD EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST OF A
HONDO TO ROSWELL LINE. AMONG LOCATIONS IMPACTED THROUGH 830 PM MDT
WILL BE DATIL...PIETOWN...RESERVE...GLENWOOD...QUEMADO LAKE...
ARAGON...MAGDALENA...LEMITAR...SOCORRO...DEXTER AND LAKE ARTHUR.
THE WHITEWATER BALDY BURN SCAR WILL RECEIVE A ONE OR TWO HOUR PERIOD
OF MODERATE RAIN WITH PERHAPS A BRIEF HEAVIER DOWNPOUR OR TWO.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF THREE TO SIX TENTHS OF AN INCH AND MORE LOCALLY
EIGHT TENTHS OF AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE MORE SIGNIFICANT
RAINFALL ACROSS CATRON COUNTY...WHILE ELSEWHERE AMOUNTS SHOULD BE
MORE IN THE ONE TO THREE TENTHS OF AN INCH RANGE. TRAVELERS AND
RESIDENTS...ESPECIALLY IN CATRON COUNTY...SHOULD BE ALERT TO PONDING
OF WATER AS WELL AS FAST FLOWING WATER OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND
IN ARROYOS.
