...ELEVATED TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY...

.DRY SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN SATURDAY AFTERNOON AHEAD OF
AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT AND SPREAD INTO
CENTRAL WYOMING LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
THE STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH ACROSS THE AREA SATURDAY EVENING
WITH A SHARP WIND SHIFT FROM THE WEST TO NORTHWEST. A VERY DRY
AND GUSTY WEST NORTHWEST FLOW WILL FOLLOW THE COLD FRONT ON
SUNDAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM SATURDAY TO 9 PM MDT
SUNDAY. THE FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.


* AFFECTED AREA...FIRE WEATHER ZONE 280. FIRE WEATHER ZONE 283.
  FIRE WEATHER ZONE 289.

* WIND...SOUTHWEST WIND 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS 35 TO 40 MPH
  SATURDAY AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT WILL SHIFT WINDS WEST TO
  NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS 30 TO 35 MPH SATURDAY
  NIGHT...CONTINUING THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY EVENING.

* MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY...12 TO 15 PERCENT SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
  NEAR 10 PERCENT SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

* LIGHTNING...ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE
  LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY.
  OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF
STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES WILL
CREATE EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR.
