SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE RAPIDLY THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS...AND PEAK IN INTENSITY BY THIS AFTERNOON. SUSTAINED WINDS
BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON WILL PEAK BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH WITH
OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO 45 MPH.

STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES...AND DRY FUELS WILL
LEAD TO VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON. PEOPLE ARE URGED TO
EXERCISE EXTREME CARE WITH RESPECT TO OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES THAT
MAY CAUSE GRASS FIRES. AVOID EQUIPMENT THAT CAN CAUSE SPARKS NEAR
DRY GRASS OR BRUSH. DO NOT TOSS CIGARETTES ON THE GROUND. REPORT
NEW FIRES QUICKLY TO THE NEAREST FIRE DEPARTMENT OR LAW

THE REGION TODAY. AFTERNOON HUMIDITY IS FORECAST TO FALL INTO THE
MID 20S TO LOW 30S WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 40S AND 50S.
