...BITTERLY COLD AIR AND LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS EXPECTED...

.DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL OCCUR THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS
THE ENTIRE AREA. LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TODAY AS
THE COLD AIR MOVES OVER THE WARMER WATERS OF LAKE ERIE. MOISTURE
FROM LAKE HURON COULD ALSO ENHANCE THE SNOW SHOWERS AND LEAD TO
SOME NARROW BANDS OF HEAVIER SNOW...ESPECIALLY ACROSS ASHTABULA
COUNTY IN OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA. INTERSTATES 90 AND 79
WILL LIKELY BE IMPACTED BY SNOW SQUALLS.

THIS EVENING...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST SUNDAY...

* ACCUMULATIONS...A LOT OF VARIABILITY IN SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IS
  EXPECTED. AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED
  TODAY...ESPECIALLY WHERE THE HEAVIER SNOW BANDS PERSIST. A FEW
  LOCATIONS COULD SEE A STORM TOTAL OF 15 INCHES OR MORE OF SNOW
  BY THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS WILL CONTINUE AND COULD
  POSSIBLY BE HEAVY AT TIMES BEFORE GRADUALLY DIMINISHING
  TONIGHT.

* WIND CHILL...WIND CHILLS WILL DIP BELOW MINUS 10 AND POSSIBLY
  AS LOW AS MINUS 20 AT TIMES. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL REMAIN
  IN THE AREA THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY DURING
  HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS AND SQUALLS. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS CAN
  RESULT IN FROSTBITE OR HYPOTHERMIA IN MINUTES. FRIGID
  TEMPERATURES COULD FREEZE WATER PIPES.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL HOVER BETWEEN 5 AND 15
  DEGREES ACROSS THE AREA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE AROUND 0 WITH
  SOME ISOLATED AREAS DOWN TO AROUND MINUS 10 AT THE TRADITIONAL
  COLD SPOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN STRONG WIND WILL COMBINE
WITH COLD TEMPERATURES TO CREATE DANGEROUSLY COLD CONDITIONS FOR
EXPOSED SKIN. THE WIND WILL MAKE IT FEEL LIKE IT IS 10 DEGREES
BELOW ZERO OR COLDER FOR A PERIOD OF SEVERAL HOURS. IF YOU WILL
BE OUTDOORS USE COMMON SENSE AND DRESS WARMLY...MAKING SURE THAT
ALL EXPOSED SKIN IS COVERED. STAY TUNED TO WEATHER RADIO FOR
FURTHER DETAILS OR UPDATES.

IN LAKE EFFECT SNOW THE WEATHER CAN VARY FROM LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW
IN NARROW BANDS TO DRY WEATHER JUST A FEW MILES AWAY. IF YOU WILL
BE TRAVELING ACROSS THE REGION BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN
ROAD AND VISIBILITY CONDITIONS. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO
