...LAKE WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...East winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* WHERE...Fort Peck Lake.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
  hazardous conditions for small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Waves up to 4 feet are expected over Fort
  Peck Lake today. Stronger wind gusts are possible in and near any
  thunderstorms that occur over the lake today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong
winds and rough waves can overturn small craft.
