...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CST
FOR CENTRAL KINNEY AND NORTHWESTERN MAVERICK COUNTIES...

At 550 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Alamo Village to near Normandy, moving northeast
at 30 mph. Hail up to 2 inches in diameter and damaging winds have
been reported with this storm cluster from near Quemado to
Brackettville since 545 pm.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Brackettville, Spofford, Quemado, Alamo Village, Radar Base,
Normandy, Laughlin Afb Aux Field, Kickapoo Cavern State Park and Elm
Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CST
FOR SHACKELFORD COUNTY...

At 530 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of
Moran, or 11 miles northeast of Baird, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Moran around 535 PM CST.
  Albany and Ibex around 555 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include McCarty
Lake, Us-180 Near The Shackelford-Stephens County Line and Us-
283 Near The Callahan-Shackelford County Line.
