AT 952 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. RADAR INDICATES OVER THREE INCHES
OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN OVER A GOOD PORTION OF THE COUNTY. FLASH
FLOODING REMAINS LIKELY.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
CENTRAL CITY...GREENVILLE...POWDERLY...GRAHAM...WEIR...DUNMOR...
DRAKESBORO...BREMEN AND SOUTH CARROLLTON.

SHANNON...NORTHERN HOWELL AND SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS COUNTIES...

AT 723 PM CDT...LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA...AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MID EVENING HOURS. THE
HEAVY RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING
HAS COME TO AN END. HOWEVER...RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAIN WILL
CONTINUE TO POSE A FLASH FLOODING RISK THROUGH THIS EVENING.

CREEKS...STREAMS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING.

THIS WARNING INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING LOW WATER
CROSSINGS...
ROUTE H...3 MILES EAST OF WINONA...
ROUTE H AT ROCKY CREEK 6 MILES NORTHEAST OF WINONA...
ROUTE H AT THOMAS HOLLOW 8 MILES NORTHEAST OF WINONA...
ROUTE Y...4 MILES NORTHWEST OF MOUNTAIN VIEW...
AND ROUTE U...6 MILES EAST OF WILLOW SPRINGS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.  IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES
OF SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
