...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHERN GASCONADE...SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN AND NORTHERN CRAWFORD
COUNTIES...

AT 936 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 2 TO 5 INCHES OF
RAINFALL HAS ALREADY FALLEN FROM OAK HILL TO SULLIVAN ALONG THE
COUNTY LINE. AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE AS THUNDERSTORMS
MOVE ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS EVENING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
SULLIVAN...BOURBON...LEASBURG...ST. CLOUD...OAK HILL...NOSER MILL...
JAPAN AND STANTON.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 44 IN MISSOURI BETWEEN EXITS 203 AND 230.

THIS ALSO INCLUDES  ONONDAGA CAVE STATE PARK AND MERAMEC STATE PARK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE
YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME
KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS AND HIKERS SHOULD AVOID STREAMS OR
CREEKS.

* AT 936 PM CDT...A NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORM IS RESULTING IN
  TORRENTIAL RAINFALL OVER THE WARNED AREA. RADAR ESTIMATES AS MUCH
  AS 5-6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE LAST TWO HOURS. FLASH
  FLOODING ON SH 349 IS LIKELY OCCURRING.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  TARZAN AND GRADY.

MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW. ACT QUICKLY TO PROTECT YOUR LIFE.
