...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM PDT FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Freeze
Warning...which is in effect from 2 AM to 9 AM PDT Friday. A
Frost Advisory has also been issued. This Frost Advisory is in
effect from 2 AM to 9 AM PDT Friday.

* Winds...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph.

* Timing...Winds will peak this morning into early this
  afternoon then gradually lower late this afternoon.

* Temperature...lowering to 28 to 32 degrees late tonight and
  early Thursday morning.

* Locations for the wind advisory include...Higher terrain in
  Lake and eastern Modoc counties, including Summer Ridge, the
  Hart Mountains and the Warner Mountains. This also includes
  Cedar Pass along Highway 299 in eastern Modoc County and
  portions of Highway 140 east of Lakeview.

* Wind Impacts...Travel will become difficult for lightweight
  and high profile vehicles. Loose objects may be blown around
  or lost.

* Locations for the freeze warnings include...Lakeview, Silver
  Lake, Sprague River, Bonanza and Chemult.

* Locations in the frost advisory Friday include...Paisley and
  Summer Lake.

* Temperature impacts...Sensitive vegetation may be killed or
  damaged if left unprotected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected with
higher gusts possible. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected.
Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
