  IN SOUTH CENTRAL OR FIRE ZONES...623..624...625.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED: IN NORTHERN CA...SISKIYOU AND MODOC COUNTIES.
  IN SOUTH CENTRAL OR...SOUTHERN KLAMATH AND LAKE COUNTIES. ONLY THE
  EXTREME SOUTHEAST CORNER OF ZONE 623 IS AFFECTED.

* THUNDERSTORMS...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE AREA ARE
  EXPECTED TO BECOME SCATTERED THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING.
  STORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE ABUNDANT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY
  WINDS. THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL INCREASE AGAIN MONDAY
  AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...DRY LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE OUTSIDE OF THE WET
  CORES. MULTIPLE NEW FIRE STARTS FROM LIGHTNING STRIKES COULD
  POSE A THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY...AND MAY OVERWHELM
  INITIAL ATTACK RESOURCES.

AREA AND ARE BRINGING IN A WARM AND DRY CONTINENTAL AIR MASS. THE
COMBINATION OF MODERATE BREEZES AND VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
WILL CREATE A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER SITUATION TODAY.

  THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA...THE NORTHWEST OLYMPIC PENINSULA...
  VALLEYS WITHIN THE NORTH CASCADES...AND THE PUGET SOUND REGION
  ALONG AND WEST OF I-5...INCLUDING THE KITSAP PENINSULA.

* WIND...NORTH-NORTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WILL EXPAND THIS
  MORNING. IN THE NORTH CASCADES AND OVER THE NORTHWEST OLYMPIC
  PENINSULA...GUSTS AS HIGH AS 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. WINDS WILL
  THEN PICK UP TO 10-15 MPH FROM THE ADMIRALTY INLET AREA SOUTH
  THROUGH THE KITSAP PENINSULA FROM LATE THIS MORNING INTO THE
  AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL DIMINISH LATER THIS AFTERNOON.

* HUMIDITY...15-30 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY.
