Widespread Rain and Thunderstorms Across the East

A storm system will bring widespread rain and thunderstorms over the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys northward to the Northeast by Friday morning. A few strong to locally severe storms could occur late tonight and early Thursday across eastern North Carolina and southeast Virginia.
