Potential for Severe Weather and Heavy Rain in the South this Weekend

A low pressure system moving across the southern Gulf States will bring a threat of isolated severe thunderstorms containing hail and damaging winds this weekend. Fire Weather threats remain elevated for portions of western Texas and along the New Mexico border.
