Lingering rain continues for parts of the Mid-Atlantic and New England as Ophelia remnants slowly move offshore. A powerful system is bringing heavy rain, a wintry mix at higher elevations, and gusty winds. Dry, gusty winds in the northern Great Basin is producing critical fire weather threats.
