An early season heatwave continues today, with the hottest temperatures so far this season. Heat index values will be dangerously high for this time of year, ranging from 105 to 115 across most of the area. Either Heat Advisories or Excessive Heat Warnings are in effect for most areas. Those spending extended time outdoors and not acclimated to the heat could be susceptible to heat related illness if not taking proper heat precautions, such as drinking plenty of water and taking frequent breaks out of the sun and heat. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Oppressive heat continues through Monday with the hottest temperatures so far this season. Those spending extended time outdoors and not acclimated to the heat could be susceptible to heat related illness if not taking proper heat precautions, such as drinking plenty of water and taking frequent breaks out of the sun and heat. Either Heat Advisories or Excessive Heat Warnings will remain in effect for most areas through early Monday evening. Isolated strong storms are forecast by early Monday evening, and with the hot temperatures over the region, will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
