155 NWUS53 KPAH 301757 LSRPAH Preliminary Local Storm Report National Weather Service Paducah KY 1257 PM CDT Thu May 30 2024 ..TIME... ...EVENT... ...CITY LOCATION... ...LAT.LON... ..DATE... ....MAG.... ..COUNTY LOCATION..ST.. ...SOURCE.... ..REMARKS.. 0946 PM Tornado 2 SW Drakesboro 37.19N 87.08W 05/26/2024 Muhlenberg KY NWS Storm Survey EF-1 tornado began just northwest of Beech Creek. Moving east-southeast, the tornado damaged outbuildings, manufactured homes, and power lines as it passed just south of Beechmont. Numerous trees were uprooted, snapped, or had broken limbs along the damage path. The tornado continued into Butler and Warren counties. The total path length was 41.1 miles, 10.3 miles of which were in Muhlenberg County. Thank you to NWS Louisville for assisting in this damage survey. && $$ DWS
