The southeastern City of Norfolk in southeastern Virginia... The central City of Chesapeake in southeastern Virginia... The southern City of Portsmouth in southeastern Virginia... The west central City of Virginia Beach in southeastern Virginia... * Until 315 PM EDT. * At 222 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Norfolk State University, moving south at 5 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Virginia Beach, Regent University, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Cradock around 225 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Greenbrier, South Norfolk, Portlock, Mount Pleasant, Herberts Corner, Gallups Corner, Hickory, and Chesapeake Airport.
