Beach conditions at Walton county should improve throughout the day today; however, lingering higher surf heights around 1-2 feet combined with 5 second periods are leading to increased rip current risks at Walton County beaches today. All other area beaches are experiencing around 1 foot or less of surf today, which should continue for the next couple of days as high pressure remains fixed over the region.
