079 FZUS52 KTAE 260938 SRFTAE Surf Zone Forecast National Weather Service Tallahassee FL 538 AM EDT Sun May 26 2024 .THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK... Gentle southerly breezes over the eastern Gulf today will not be enough to increase the rip current risk beyond the moderate category. Southwest breezes will increase on Monday in advance of a late season cold front, increasing surf enough to bring a high risk for Emerald Coast beaches. The wave action will linger enough on Tuesday for another high risk day along Panhandle beaches. A turn to offshore wind on Tuesday night will decrease the rip risk on Wednesday.
