.DISCUSSION...
Very dry conditions continue through the remainder of the work
week. Southwest to west winds pick up late this morning peaking during
the early evening hours. A few hours of elevated to near critical fire
weather conditions this afternoon. Winds quickly taper off after sunset.
Stronger west winds expected Thursday late morning through sunset as
a system passes north of the state. Critical fire weather conditions
expected during the afternoon to early evening hours with extremely
low relative humidity values. West winds taper off shortly after sunset.
Lighter winds Friday with increasing potential for widespread critical
fire weather conditions on Saturday.
