At 914 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 8 miles north of Saint Vrain, or 18 miles west of Clovis, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail. SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Curry County. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... TAKE COVER NOW!
