...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT ON THE TOKSOOK
RIVER UNTIL NOON AKDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...Toksook River near Nightmute.

* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  River or stream flows are elevated and flooding of homes in
  Nightmute is occurring.  Additional homes could be impacted as
  water levels rise from snowmelt.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1115 AM AKDT, emergency management reported snowmelt
    flooding continued in Nightmute. Residents reported homes had
    water underneath them or into their insulation.  Additional
    snowmelt could impact more homes in the area if water
    continues to rise.
