The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  The southeastern City of Chesapeake in southeastern Virginia...
  The southern City of Virginia Beach in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 630 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Chesapeake to near Northwest to near Moyock, moving
  east northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Virginia Beach, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, Northwest, and Fentress
  around 635 PM EDT.
  Back Bay and Princess Anne around 645 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Mount
Pleasant, Sigma, Sandbridge Beach, Herberts Corner, Dam Neck, Munden,
Hickory, Chesapeake Airport, and Pungo.
