Showers across northern parts of the region will continue to
clear off through the day today. Additional showers and
thunderstorms will then develop mainly in South Dakota and
southern Minnesota this afternoon. Further development is then
expected Saturday night through Sunday across most of the region.
Through the holiday weekend, temperatures are forecast to be
slightly below average, with highs mostly in the 60s. A warming
trend is then expected into the middle of next week.
