Scattered showers will move across the region this morning, with
a few isolated thunderstorms possible in eastern South Dakota. A
mostly cloudy sky will prevail today, but some peeks of sun can be
expected. Highs this afternoon are expected to range from the
lower 60s in southern Saskatchewan and northeast Montana to the
mid and upper 70s in western and central South Dakota.

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop over South
Dakota and southern North Dakota later this afternoon and track
northeastward into the eastern Dakotas and western Minnesota
through the evening. Isolated to scattered severe storms are
possible.

Cooler temperatures are expected for the upcoming work week, with
highs in the mid 50s to upper 60s and lows in the upper 30s to
upper 40s. Low to medium chances for rain are in the forecast for
most areas each day, with higher chances for showers and
thunderstorms from South Dakota to Minnesota Monday night and
Tuesday.
