...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN TUSCALOOSA AND
NORTHEASTERN HALE COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 359 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Shelton State Community College, or 9 miles southwest of Northport,
moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Tuscaloosa, Moundville, Shelton State Community College,
Englewood, Little Sandy, Maxwell, Phipps, Taylorville, Fosters Boat
Landing, Hull, Palmore Park, Mound State Park, Duncanville, Fosters,
and Elliots Creek.
