Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Small Craft Exercise Caution conditions remain as
moderate to fresh southeasterly breezes continue from an enhanced
pressure gradient. Winds will gradually lighten later this evening
as a stationary boundary approaches from the north and the
pressure gradient eases. Friday morning, the chance of
thunderstorms will increase from the northwestern Coastal Waters
and expand eastward and southward into the afternoon before
dissipating in the evening. Winds will remain light and seas
