...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT JIM HOGG...NORTHEASTERN STARR
AND WESTERN BROOKS COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1108 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles northeast of Agua Nueva, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hebbronville, Agua Nueva, Guerra, Las Lomitas, Gruy Stadium, Randado,
Jim Hogg County Airport, Hebbronville High School, South Fork
Estates, and San Rafael Ranch Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
Deep South Texas.
