...AREAS OF SNOW AND RAIN AFFECTING SOUTHERN BIG HORN AND SHERIDAN
COUNTIES...

At 658 PM MDT, moderate to heavy precipitation was moving through
southern Big Horn and Sheridan counties. Locations in and near the
foothills were experiencing a mix of rain and wet snow. Locations
near the mountains and the higher hills along I-90 could see up to a
few inches of snow this evening, before precipitation diminishes
tonight. Motorists along I-90 and people near the mountains should
expect slushy roads and reduced visibility to under a mile at times.

Locations impacted include...
Sheridan, Ranchester, Dayton, Big Horn, Clearmont, Leiter, Wyola,
Parkman, Tongue River Reservoir, Banner, and Rosebud Battlefield
Park.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
