...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of south central
Clarendon and east central Orangeburg Counties through 815 PM EDT...

At 729 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Summerton, or 15 miles southwest of Manning, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

...Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor...

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Eutawville, Rocks Pond Campground and Marina, Blounts Landing, Mill
Creek Marina and Campground, Eautaw Springs, and Indian Bluff
Recreation Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
