...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN NUECES AND EASTERN
KLEBERG COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 AM CDT...

At 1052 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles west of Malaquite Beach, or 18 miles south of Corpus Christi,
moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Corpus Christi, Flour Bluff, South Texas Botanical Gardens, Kings
Crossing Subdivision, Waldron Field, Petronila, and Chapman Ranch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
