...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHUMBERLAND...SNYDER...
MONTOUR...COLUMBIA AND SOUTHEASTERN UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM
EDT...

At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing landspouts along a line extending from near
Bloomsburg to Shamokin to 15 miles southwest of Mifflinburg.
Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Landspout and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Bloomsburg, Berwick, Sunbury, Shamokin, Milton, Mount Carmel,
Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Danville, Northumberland, Mifflinburg,
Kulpmont, Winfield, Elysburg, Fairview-Ferndale, Riverside,
Trevorton, Shamokin Dam, Catawissa, and Linntown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central Pennsylvania.
