...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MORTON COUNTY THROUGH
645 PM CDT...

At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Stonington, or 15 miles south of The Saunders
Elevator, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Morton
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
