This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorm chances linger into this evening for far
northern Minnesota, the Arrowhead, and northwest Wisconsin. A few
strong storms could be possible in Northwest Wisconsin until 8 PM
with the primary hazard being brief gusty winds and small hail.

Strong non-thunderstorm winds with gusts up to 30 to 40 mph linger
into early evening for the Minnesota Arrowhead where a Wind
Advisory is in effect.

A Beach Hazard Statement remains in effect into this evening for
Minnesota and Wisconsin Point beaches due to strong winds and high
waves leading to rip currents.

Elevated river and creek levels will continue.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Small thunderstorm chances continue across the area Saturday and
again Sunday evening. Severe storms are not anticipated.

Skywarn spotters are encouraged to report hail of any size and
rainfall amounts to the National Weather Service.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Northeast winds with gusts up to 35 knots will keep Gale Warnings
continuing until late this afternoon for the North Shore into the
Twin Ports and in the Outer Apostle Islands. The winds will back
to westerly tonight, but winds and waves remain hazardous to
small craft through the remainder of the evening into tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

West to southwest winds gusting to 20 to 30 knots Saturday
morning will slowly decrease during the day on Saturday, allowing
conditions to improve on the lake by the evening.
