...FLOOD WATCH WILL EXPIRE AT 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

The Flash Flood Watch will expire for portions of central, north
central, northwest, south central, southwest, and west central Iowa,
including the following counties, in central Iowa, Boone, Dallas,
Hamilton, Hardin, Polk, Story and Webster. In north central Iowa,
Franklin, Humboldt and Wright. In northwest Iowa, Pocahontas. In
south central Iowa, Madison and Warren. In southwest Iowa, Adair and
Cass. In west central Iowa, Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Crawford,
Greene, Guthrie and Sac.

The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood
Watch will expire at 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, and south
  central Iowa, including the following counties, in central Iowa,
  Grundy, Jasper, Marshall, Poweshiek and Tama. In north central
  Iowa, Butler. In northeast Iowa, Black Hawk and Bremer. In south
  central Iowa, Mahaska and Marion.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
  heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rainfall over a short period of time may lead to flash
    flooding in the watch area.
