...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49 affecting Tama County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49, or from Timber Creek
  near Le Grand to Salt Creek near Belle Plaine.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Backwater from the Iowa River covers
  portions of Business 30 and S Prospect Dr in Toledo.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5
    feet this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
