...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN MONROE COUNTY THROUGH
630 PM EDT...

At 557 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Luna Pier, or near Temperance, moving northwest at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Milan, Dundee, Temperance, Ida, Luna Pier, Petersburg, Deerfield,
Maybee, La Salle, Erie, Cone, Samaria, Azalia, and Scofield.

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 1 and 7.
 US-23 between mile markers 8 and 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
