...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...Kansas...

  Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Jackson, Lafayette and Ray
  Counties.

  Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Andrew, Buchanan and
  Doniphan Counties.

  Missouri River at Waverly affecting Saline, Lafayette and Carroll
  Counties.

  Missouri River At Miami affecting Saline, Chariton and Carroll
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Napoleon.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low-lying areas unprotected by levees
  begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 17.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 11.8 feet
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at St Joseph.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream
  from St. Joseph occurs.
  At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri River floods property
  along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:35 AM CDT Friday the stage was 17.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this afternoon and continue falling to 12.0 feet Wednesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Miami.

* WHEN...From this evening to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas outside of levees
  begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:54 AM CDT Friday the stage was 15.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 18.2 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
