...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MIAMI AND JOHNSON
COUNTIES THROUGH 200 AM CDT...

At 118 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wellsville, or near Edgerton, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Leawood, Gardner, Paola, Spring Hill,
Louisburg, Edgerton, Hillsdale, Chiles, Clare, Bucyrus, Lackmans,
Stillwell, Stanley, and Wagstaff.

This includes Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 200 and
220.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for east central
Kansas...and west central Missouri.
