No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday... Scattered to widespread showers and embedded thunderstorms are expected Friday and Friday night, giving way to widespread showers and scattered storms on Saturday. Periods of heavy rainfall could lead to localized flash flooding primarily across portions of western Georgia and the Atlanta metro, where 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rainfall are forecasted. Localized greater totals are possible. In addition, there is a conditional threat for severe storms mainly across central Georgia on Friday and Friday night with damaging winds as the primary threat. Additional, relatively lower threats are hail and a few tornadoes. On Saturday, strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts and hail will be possible generally along and south of I-85 on Saturday. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms could occur Sunday and Wednesday next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. $$
