This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

A line of showers and thunderstorms, some being strong to severe,
will approach far Northwest Georgia overnight into early Monday.
Damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes will be the
primary threats. Locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning
will also accompany the line of storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

Monday, there is a chance that strong to severe thunderstorms
could become more organized and numerous ahead of a cold front
advancing through the forecast area. These storms will move east
of the area Monday night with a drier forecast expected through
the end of the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS.
